Selecting and erasing

- [Instructor] In this video we'll learn about selecting and erasing. Start by going to the Select tool in the side tool bar. We can also use the hotkey s to bring up the selection tool. Now, we have two options up here, a brush and lasso. I like to leave brush on by default. And, if you hover your brush over the mesh, you can see if we zoom in here a little bit, you can see that we have a preview of our brush size. Now we can change that brush size by dragging the slider on the panel over here. And then the other way we can do it is we can use our center scroll mouse button. If you just scroll down or up, we can change the size of our brush. Now click and drag to paint a selection onto your mesh. You can see that it highlights orange. Brush selecting is additive so you can stop and continue where you left off. Conversely, if you want to take away from your selection, then you can hold down the Shift key and subtract from your selection. So, even when the brush selection mode is…
