- The Raspberry Pi comes with a program called raspyvid. It's a command-line program written to take videos with the Raspberry Pi camera. Raspyvid has a lot of options and it's possible for any video needs you won't need to write additional software to run the camera. So let's take five minutes to explore raspyvid in depth. First, from a terminal window type raspyvid. Then a dash and then an O, followed by a filename. Then followed by dot H two six four. That's all one filename.
