- [Mark] When you're documenting your use of the Raspberry Pi you're going to want to use a screenshot. For that, you'll need the SCR OT command, short for SCR OT, SCReen shOT. Hi, I'm Mark Niemann-Ross and welcome to this week's edition of Raspberry Pi Weekly. Every week we explore the Raspberry Pi and share useful tips. Now one warning. Entering SCR OT into a search engine will return some dicey results. Instead enter Raspberry Pi SCR OT for more appropriate results. To use SCR OT, you'll need a terminal window, so open up a terminal in Raspberry Pi. And then to create a screenshot, you first cd to the Desktop, cd Desktop and then type scrot, S-C-R-O-T. That produces a screenshot in the current directory which because I've cd'ed to the desktop produces a screenshot to the directory. We can take a quick look at that by double clicking on it. And there's our first screenshot. Scrot has a lot of options. Typing S-C-R-O-T scrot -SCR OT allows us to use the mouse, so in this case, if I…
