- [Instructor] There are a couple of different ways to get legal content to plan your raspberry pie. Some actual retro games have been released for free by the original copyright holder and can thus be downloaded and played legally. Other games are new, homebrew titles developed for retro consoles and released free or even open source. The arcade emulator MAME, or the multi arcade machine emulator has a collection of free arcade games from the 1980's that the original developers have made available for noncommercial use. Let's check those out. I'll go to MAMEdev.org, then choose the download option from the menu bar and click ROMs. Click the name of any ROM to see it's description and some screen shots. Check the box to acknowledge that you're using this ROM for noncommercial use and then click the link to download. The download is in a zip file but there's no need to unzip it.
