- [Instructor] There are two really nice things about Retro Pie. It's Deep feature set which we'll get into later, and how fast it is to get up and running. For example, let's say you don't care about the details of how RetroPie's different components work together and you don't care about running a lean installation. All you want is to get started playing games right away. You absolutely can do that and if you end up wanting to dig deeper you can always start fiddling with configuration once you're up and running. The fastest way to get started is to flash a complete RetroPie image to a blank micro SD card. You don't need any other software installed everything is included in the image. Go to the RetroPie website, RetroPie.org.uk and click on the download link at the top of the page. Then scroll down and click the download link that corresponds to your model of Raspberry Pi.
