Connect the LED and switch hardware

- [Instructor] Now, connect the green wire from the switch to the second pin from the left on the bottom row. Connect the black wire to the third pin from the left on the top row. Now for the LED. Notice, that one leg is longer than the other. Carefully, push the LED into the breadboard. Connect the long leg of the LED to the second pin from the right on the bottom row. Connect the short end of the LED to a resistor. Connect the resistor to the far right pin on the bottom row. Be sure to check your connections and make sure they agree with the wiring diagram I've provided. When you're certain everything is correct, go ahead and connect power to the Raspberry Pi. Nothing should happen. That's the job of software and that's what we'll do in the next video.
