- [Voiceover] The nice thing about the EmulationStation interface, is that it gives you a fine degree of control over the way games are launched, run and displayed. Specific titles might work differently with different emulators, even though they're originally from the same system. Let me show you how to change the way ROMs are loaded, using the run command. First, I'm going to load an additional Libretro core for MAME, the system that I have ROMs loaded for. I'll enter the RetroPie configuration screen, then choose the RetroPie setup option. I'll choose manage packages. I want an optional package, so I'll chose manage optional packages. Scroll down to lr-mame2010, the later version of the lr-mame2003 ROM, that is installed by default with RetroPie. The LR prefix means that it's a Libretro core. I'll choose to install from binary. The version you get from installing from source might be a more up-to-date version, but this is an emulator from 2010, and it's fairly mature, and…
