How to install RabbitMQ

To get started with RabbitMQ you'll first need to install it somewhere. If you manage your own servers, you can install RabbitMQ on Linux, Windows, or on Mac. If you're running your software in the Cloud, you might prefer running RabbitMQ on one of the many supported platforms like Amazon, Azure, Cloud Foundry, or Google Cloud. CloudAMQP deserves a special mention. It's a Cloud service that focuses only on providing RabbitMQ as a service. Finally, there are also Docker Images, Helm Charts, Chef Cookbooks, and Puppet Modules and as you can see, RabbitMQ runs on just about any platform available. To install RabbitMQ on Windows, go to RabbitMQ.com. Click on the Get Started link and on the Download Installation link. On the right hand side of the page, click on the Install Windows link, and click on Using the Official Installer. You will also have to install a 64-bit version of Erlang.
