- [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to look at some features that are only available in the advanced version of RX 6. And we're going to start here with the EQ Match module. Sometimes you need to work with or combine multiple recordings into a single file. But those recordings may have been recorded with different mics or at different locations. For example, maybe you have two parts of an interview, one recorded with a handheld mic, and the other with a lavalier mic, or maybe you're working with the audio from a scene in a movie where some dialogue was recorded on location while other parts were recorded later in a studio. These are scenarios where the tonal difference in the separate recordings might be pretty glaring when combined together. The EQ Match module can help you get disparate recordings to sound closer to each other so your project sounds more consistent overall.
