- [Instructor] Now let's see how you can use your favorite third party audio units or VST plug-ins within the standalone RX 6 app. Let's open up our preferences here in RX. And here we have a tab labeled Plug-ins. This is really easy to use because RX can scan your computer for any available audio units or VST plug-ins. So, let's try scanning for audio units. Just click Enable and RX 6 scans your entire system to find any audio unit's plug-ins that might be available on your computer. Now I have this list of AU plug-ins that it found. Now, what you see in your copy of RX is, of course, going to depend on what you have installed on your computer. Now, I suggest keeping Group plug-ins by name in plug-in menus checked, so that if I now click OK, and then open up the Plug-in module, I can now come down and select any of those available AU plug-ins.
