- [Instructor] Now I'd like to run through three more of the utility modules that can be used to make very quick changes to the volume or amplitude levels of your files or just parts of your files. We're going to look at Fade, Gain and Normalize. Lets begin with Fade. You basically have two main choices here. Fade in or Fade out. And with both of those, you can choose the shape of the fade to control the rate at which the selected audio fades in or out over the length of the fade. So for example if I wanted to fade out the last few seconds of this interview, I can make my selection which currently sounds like this. - [Audio Example] So we get to do our farming in very close proximity to the rest of our life, and that our other. - [Instructor] And then I can select Fade out. And I keep the Logarithmic curve selected and I'll click Process. And you can tell just by looking at the wave form that the fade has been applied.
