- [Voiceover] Now let's spend some time talking about this main area of the RX 6 interface, the waveform and spectrogram area. I have the file open from the previous movie called "Interview Mono." So what we're seeing here is a visual representation of the audio file. It's this visualization that gives you the ability to edit, manipulate, repair, and otherwise enhance your audio in RX 6. What we're really seeing here are two separate visualizations. I'm going to grab the slider here and drag that all the way to the left. What that leaves us with is just the waveform view. If you've ever used any other audio editing application before, you're more than likely familiar with what a waveform looks like. The waveform display depicts your audio file as amplitude, measured vertically in dB, or decibels, over here on the right. Basically, it shows you your audio file in terms of how loud or soft its volume is over time, which is measured horizontally. The larger the waveforms, the louder the…
