- [Instructor] One of the most common types of problems you'll have in a recording is an occasional click or pop. This can come from something as simple as someone touching a microphone or connection at the wrong time, or you may have a series of clicks and pops from converting a recording from a vinyl record to a digital. Whatever the case, what I'm referring to as clicks or pops are very short percussive sounds. And in this movie, we'll take a look at a couple of ways to eliminate them. Let's take a listen to this first example. - [Announcer] Ladies and gentlemen, we are approaching Mars lower orbit. Fasten your seatbelts and prepare yourself for atmospheric re-entrance. - [Instructor] So you can hear all those crackles and pops that are going on in the background there. It's a fairly common sound on old recordings, and this is the type of audio that the De-click module in RX 6 is designed for. Let's open it up.
