shinyAppDir: Creating Interactive Presentations with Shiny and R
shinyAppDir: Creating Interactive Presentations with Shiny and R

The shinyAppDir function allows a split-file Shiny app to be inserted directly into a RMarkdown presentation, provided that the presentation is in "runtime: shiny" and that the Shiny app directory is kept relative to the hosting RMarkdown presentations. These presentations can be published wholesale to the platform but will consume active hours while displayed. Note that it is not possible to scale the displayed size of Shiny apps embedded in this manner to the containiner window, an explicit pixel width and height must be specified instead. Learn how to use shinyAppDir to embed split-file Shiny dashboards into your RMarkdown presentations and publish these to in this online video.
