- [Voiceover] Most people working with RStudio are working on several different projects. Analysis of different data sets or maybe different analysis for different audiences of the same data sets. RStudio provides a great feature for separating your workload into distinct projects. It's a common feature of integrated development environments like RStudio but it's almost criminally underused by most users. Who simply use separate folders for their different projects. They're three key benefits to using the project features of RStudio. Pick up where you left off easily by reopening the script files that you last had open in your project. Reload environmental variables so you can quickly start off your analysis where you were last time. And projects also reset a working directory for your project making it easier to access project files and to import data for the auto-completion menus.
