The global figure size can be set in a YAML header.
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to set … the global figure sizes in R Markdown. … We'll go to our exercise files … and we'll open folder zero six, underscore zero two. … And we'll open up out our studio project. … We have two R Markdown files in here … which are identical to one another, … except that one creates a html document, … and the other creates a pdf document. … Let's go through these in turn and play around … with the sizes of the figures. … I'll start with our html document. … Okay, and I'll knit that together … by pressing the knit button. … And let's look at what we have here. … So, if I scroll down, my base R chart. … That looks like a fairly good size. … I can read all the text in it, but maybe in the future … I'd like it so I can span the entire width of the page. … But it doesn't look bad. … And the ggplot two charts, yeah, … that's a pretty good size as well. … So let's go over to the pdf document now. … Okay, and we'll knit this together. … And let's take a look at what we've got. …
