- [Instructor] If you want your Shiny app to be made available for others to interact with in a web browser, the simplest solution is shinyapps.io. Shinyapps.io is provided by RStudio and is what we call a fully hosted solution in that there is zero server configuration required to use the service. Advanced users may need to change their default settings for how shinyapps.io hosts each app, but a friendly user interface is provided. Like many services, shinyapps.io uses a freemium model. Freemium means that you can use the service for free, but you need to pay for extra resources and a more professional shinyapps.io experience. The free account is perfect for testing and personal use. For instance, creating a Shiny app to accompany a blog post. The free tier caps the number of apps that you can host at any one time.
