- [Instructor] Tables are incredibly useful tools for data driven apps. It's impossible to undermine the importance of good data visualizations as they allow users to compare combinations of specific variables and get a good feeling for the data. But tables are the tool that you want to use when you know your users care about comparing any and possibly all variables together in an accessible fashion. Tables are also extremely convenient where you know that your users will want to download data into rectangular data files likes csvs and xl workbooks. There are many different options available for us to display tables in a shinyapps. The first question we have to ask is do we want a static table or an interactive table? Static tables are controlled exclusively by external input controls in a shinyapp, and are geared towards apps that your users might want to print.
