Let's talk about some of the resources that are available to you, as an R programmer. I've provided a list of all the links we're going to look at in the exercise files. First, you should be aware of R-Ladies, and R-Ladies is a community of all women programmers working in R. It's a highly supportive group, very encouraging, and if you're a lady, I would highly recommend that you get involved and look at the website and find out where are the meetings are near you.
