Preparing continuous Table 1 shell
- [Lecturer] Welcome to chapter five, section two, where we will now review a blank continuous Table 1 together. Remember our big picture? First we make these table shells, then we analyze the data and enter them into the table shells for presentation. We fill in numbers off stage and they get reported on stage. Last section covered Table 1 categorical and this one covers Table 1 continuous, because, as I said before, they are in a different format. I'll remind you how they are different with a quick comparison. So let's get started. Okay, are you ready? Let's go look at our continuous table shell. Okay, you'll see the stage looks similar, but different, when compared to the categorical stage, similar in that the list on the left looks the same and also we have these overall frequencies I showed you in the last table. If you were doing two tables in the same manuscript, you can probably leave off this column, because you are repeating information. But if this table is standing alone…
