- [Instructor] Now that you have successfully completed your descriptive analysis, let's talk here in our last section, about potential next steps for you. Here, we are going to talk about whether you want to say this analysis is done or you want to move on to a regression analysis, which I cover in the next course. I also cover presenting your results to your research team, which is something you should have to bounce ideas off of and to co-own your analysis. We will also briefly cover preparing a manuscript and also publication and presentation. This sounds like a public health warning, but it's not. Descriptive analysis often leads to regression. This is simply because you need to do a descriptive analysis before every regression. So if you do one and have enough data, why not go forward? When you are using large data sets like BRFSS, often a regression analysis is expected. But in smaller data sets, the regression can't be completed, so the descriptive analysis is fine. You can…
