- [Instructor] Now we're going to briefly review the four tasks associated with the business understanding phase, which is just prior to data understanding. Our goal is to better understand the transition from one to the other. In the Christiane document, If you go beyond the circular diagram, you'll get to the task list. You can see the four tasks for business understanding. The items in italics are interesting as well. Those are the recommended outputs or documentation requirements for Christiane. But for the moment, we're going to stay focused on the tasks. Each of these are important, but one in particular overlaps with data understanding, and that is the assess situation task. The phrase that Christiane associates with assessed situation is that it includes a inventory of resources. And that of course includes data.
