Positioning text in boxes

- [Voiceover] When it comes to working with the text in layouts there are plenty of issues to consider, but maybe the most fundamental is how to control the position of text within its text box. And thats what we'll look at in this movie. In our exercise file on the first page we have just one text box containing three paragraphs of text. And notice that the text doesnt fill up the whole box theres this empty area here down at the bottom. The fact that QuirkXPress put the text at the top of the textbox has nothing to do with the formatting of the text itself, it has to do with the options that are set on the textbox and if we select the textbox and click on textbox in the measurements pallet we can see those settings. There are four buttons here to control the vertical position of text in a textbox. Right now top alignment is selected so the text starts at the top but we can choose something different like bottom alignment. Here the text will sit at the bottom of the text frame and…
