- [Voiceover] Now that we've seen how to draw a basic table and how to bring in tabular data from Excel, the next thing you'll probably want to do is change the table by adding or removing rows and columns, as well as changing the size of existing rows and columns. So let's do that now. In the exercise file for this movie we have a simple table. I've just pasted this in from Excel, so there's no link to the original data. And as you can see, there are several cells with overflow text. If I take the item tool and click on the table to select it. You can see there are handles just like any text box. And you can drag these to resize the table. So dragging from the middle of the top or the bottom will resize the rows. Dragging from the middle of the sides will resize the columns. Dragging from the corners allows you to freely resize the entire table. Notice that as I drag, the size of the text does not change. If I do want the text to resize, I need to press Shift + Command on a Mac or…
