Exporting fixed-layout EPUB

- [Voiceover] You can create various kinds of eBooks directly from your QuarkXPress layouts, and in this movie we'll look at how to export to a format that preserves the look of your layout and works with various e-readers, including Apple's iBooks. And that format is fixed-layout EPUB. So here in the exercise file we have a little two-page layout, and when I created this layout I chose the Digital type, which gave me the option for the iPad horizontal format you can see here in the Layout tab. And if you wanna see all of the digital layout options you can right-click on that Layout tab and choose New. And in the dialog box you can see that the Layout Type is set to Digital. For Devices it's iPad, Android, 4:3 aspect ratio, with 1024x768 pixel dimensions. Now since we don't really need another layout, let's just cancel out of here, and scroll to the second page where we actually have some interactive elements that you can include in a fixed-layout EPUB.
