- [Voiceover] An exciting new feature in QuarkXPress 2016 is the ability to make multi-color blends. Let's check them out. In our exercise file we have a text box sitting on top of a no-content box, and that no-content box is filled with a color called wood, and its opacity is reduced to 80%. And I can see that here in the colors palette. That's a perfectly reasonable way to design this page, but now let's see if we can make it a little more colorful, specifically let's fill this box with a multi-color blend with colors that we sampled from the background photo here using the new color picker. First, so we don't make things a little too colorful, let's double-click on the text box, select all the text, and make it all black. Then we can close the colors palette, take the item tool, click on the no-content box, and then choose Window, Color Blends. In the Color Blends palette there's a popup menu where we can choose the type of blend, let's choose Axial, and this makes a straight…
