Creating PDF output styles

Because QuarkXPress can output to many different kinds of file formats including PDF, EPS and printing on paper, Quark refers to a collection of output options as Output Styles. To make it easy to manage and edit all of your Output Styles, Quark gathers them into one place, under the Edit menu > Output Styles. If you know you want to be working with a PDF Output Style, you can use this pop-up menu here to show just the PDF Output Styles. The rest of this window works just like all the other style editing windows.

You can create a new style from scratch, you can edit an existing style, you can duplicate a style and make changes to it and re-save it with a new name, you can import styles from elsewhere, export the ones you have got, and of course delete, cancel, and save. If you select one of these, for example Print, you can either edit it or more likely duplicate it, give it a new name, make your changes, and then save it. Now, it appears in the list with the other PDF Output Styles ...
