He demonstrates controlling the scope of Check Spelling, how to select the right replacement word, how to create an additional dictionary to stop specific words from being flagged as spelling errors, and how to change the language associated with a word, so it is spell checked by QuarkXPress using the correct dictionary. He shows how to prevent words from ever being spell checked or hyphenated by assigning a language of None.
