- Table summarized business data using the values themselves while charts summarize data visually. Qlik Sense lets you sort your chart data in much the same way that you can sort your table data. In this movie, I will show you how to sort data within a chart. I have created a new app based on the all details excel workbook, which you can find in the exercise files collection. To that app, I have added a bar chart that shows the total of all orders broken down by product category and you can see that chart here. I'm currently in editing mode. If I want to sort while I'm in editing mode, I can do that by going over to the properties panel and then clicking the sorting header. And here I can change the settings for the sort, starting with a field order. You can see that I have product category first and order total second. If I drag product category below order total, they change order and you see that I now have my values in descending order. I have the highest on the left and the…
