- [Instructor] Qlik Sense charts come with standard formatting elements. The built-in designs are pretty good, but you're able to change them so your charts look exactly the way you want them to. I'll demonstrate how to make common changes in this movie. The app that I created is based on the All Details workbook, and you can find that in the Exercise Files folder. I have added a line chart that shows the sum of order totals, that is, the amount spent for each month for the years 2017 and 2018. And you can see the standard formatting has been applied. If I want to change the formatting of this chart, then, with the chart selected, I can go over to the Properties panel and click Appearance. And as you might imagine, that allows us to change the appearance of the elements of the chart. The first thing I can do is either turn titles on or off. In this case, I'll leave them on.
