Create a waterfall chart

- [Instructor] Organizations must keep careful track of the cash they have in their accounts. One way to visualize cash flows is by creating a waterfall chart, which displays starting and ending values, as well as income and expenses along the way. In this movie, I will show you how to create a waterfall chart in Qlik Sense. Rather than starting in Qlik Sense, I am here in Excel, so you can see what the data you're going to work with looks like. I have an Excel table, and each of the columns has a header that is a date. They're one week apart, going from left to right. January 7 of 2019, January 14 of 2019, and so on, all the way up to February 11. These columns represent transactions. So that means on January 7, 2019, we got cash of 150,000, and on Febrary 11, at the right side, we had an expense of 100,000.
