- [Instructor] Knowing specific values for sales or shipping times is vital to any business. But it's also important to visualize how many values fall within certain ranges. In this movie, I will show you how to create a specific kind of column chart called a histogram, which counts the number of values that fall into discrete ranges or bins. I have created a new app, and a new sheet within that app, based on the all details workbook, that you can find in the exercise files folder. So again, what I want to do, is to create a chart called a histogram that will count the number of values that fall within certain ranges. In this case, I will base it on the quantity of items ordered by product. I'll go over to the assets panel, where I've already clicked charts, and I'll drag a histogram onto the body of the sheet.
