- [Instructor] Although digital displays have made gauges a little less common, many cars have speedometers, tachometers, and other displays that use a gauge or dial to indicate values. In this movie I will show you how to add a gauge to a Qlik Sense app. I've created this app based on the all details workbook that you can find in the exercise files folder and I have a blank sheet that I have opened for editing. Now I can go over to that assets panel on the left side of the screen and click charts and from here I can drag gauge onto the workbook and I will put it here at the top. A gauge is all about a measure, some sort of numerical value. I will use a count of order number. Order number is a unique value for each order within my data set and because I know they're unique I know that counting them will give me an accurate number of orders. If I counted customer names then I would only see the number of customers not the number of orders and I might not see all my customers. The same…
