- [Instructor] Data often follows common patterns and you can visualize those patterns using a distribution plot chart. A distribution plot chart is as the name implies, a way of seeing how data compares to each other on a single axis. That might be the total of all orders, it might be the quantity of orders and so on. In this movie I will show you how to create a distribution plot chart in Qlik Sense. I have created a blank app and I have a sheet open for editing. This app is based on data from the all details workbook which you can find in the exercise files folder. To add a distribution plot chart I'll go to the Assets panel, click Charts and then I will drag a distribution plot on to the body of the sheet. So I'll drag that and I'll make it take up the top half of the working area. Now I can a dimension, in other words, how I want to group my data and a measure.
