- [Instructor] The data sets you bring into ClixSense might not always contain every value you want. For example, you might know the price of an item and the quantity ordered, but not the total value of the order. In this movie, I will show you how to create a custom calculation in an app. I have created a table within a new app that draws its data from the all details sample workbook. You can find that in the exercise files folder. This table, which I'll select so it's a little easier to read, has the total of all orders from states. So we've looked at the state the customer was from, took the total of their orders and added them all together, aggregated by state. The scenario I have in mind is that my local government has passed a new tax and that 15/100ths of a percent of all sales revenue will go toward highway improvement. So in this table, I want to calculate the total that I will owe. To do that, I can go over to the properties panel and under data, click "add column". This…
