- [Narrator] Most of the business data you capture will contain multiple dimensions such as the state an order came from, the product and it's category, as well the customer's name. Your data will also contain measures such as the quantity of items ordered and the total amount paid per order. In this movie I will show you how to combine those dimensions and measures into a pivot table, which let's you rearrange your data dynamically. I have created a new app that is based on The All Details Workbook you can find in the exercise files folder. I've created a new sheet and opened it for editing. To add a pivot table object I'll go over to the assets panel and click charts. And, I will drag a pivot table object onto the body of the sheet. And, I'll put it in the middle so it takes up the entire thing.
