- [Instructor] Objects you add to an app have properties that control their appearance and function. In this movie I will show you how to change those objects properties to get exactly the appearance and actions you want. I'm working in an app that I created using the all details sample file, and you can find that in the exercise files folder. I'm on the sales by category sheet, if I want to edit the properties of an object on the sheet, I can click the edit button and then click the object I want to edit. Right now on the right you'll see that I have sheet properties, and that's because the entire sheet is selected, or in this case there's nothing selected, so it defaults to the sheet. However, when I click the bar chart object you'll see that over in the properties panel I have sales by category, which is the name of the chart.
