Install plugin
- [Instructor] Next, we're going to install the save_dxf plugin that we made in the previous video into QGIS. Now, right now, it's just an empty plugin, but we want to install it so that we have a place to enter our code later and also see the icon show up inside the QGIS project. The fastest way to do this is to take it from the desktop and put it into the plugins folder. Let's highlight the save_dxf folder on the desktop, right-click and choose copy. Open up QGIS. Under settings, go to user profiles, open active profile folder. That will get us really close to where we want to put the plugins. Once we're inside the profiles default, we go into Python, plugins, and then, in this folder, in the plugins folder, we right-click and paste that save_dxf plugin. Let's minimize that. Now it won't automatically show up in our projects, so we may want to close QGIS and then reopen it and that save_dxf plugin should…
