Join Josh McQuiston for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know, part of Learning Python Generators.
- Before you get started with this course, there are a few things you need to know. This course is intended for those with experience in Python programming. You should have a solid understanding of functions, classes, objects, and methods. An understanding of decorators will be helpful as well, although not strictly necessary. While you don't need to know everything, being familiar with the basics is necessary to follow along. If you've never coded with Python before, check out our offerings. There are many courses to help you get started.
Throughout this course, I'll be using Python 2.7. There are some slight syntax differences if you're using Python three, which I'll cover in the course, but the features I'll be covering are supported in either version.
