Join Barron Stone for an in-depth discussion in this video Getting the most from Code Clinic, part of Code Clinic: Python (2014).
If you really want to get the most out of Code Clinic, create your own solution to the problems before you watch my solution. If you've spent prior time working on the question, you'll have a better idea of some of the difficult parts and be better able to understand why I've made certain choices. Finally, I've included the source code for my solution in the exercise files. I'm assuming you already have the necessary tools installed to be able to edit and compile this code. If not, I recommend you consult the Python 3 Essential Training or Up and Running with Python courses.
Code Clinic is a unique opportunity to look over my shoulder as I actually solve coding problems. Keep in mind that my solution isn't the only correct solution. There are always a multitude of ways to solve a problem. But by watching how I approach the task, you'll learn how to become a better programmer yourself.
Barron introduce challenges and provides an overview of his solutions in Python. Challenges include topics such as statistical analysis, searching directories for images, and accessing peripheral devices.
Visit other courses in the series to see how to solve the exact same challenges in languages like C#, C++, Java, PHP, and Ruby.
