Create a sandbox
- [Instructor] Before we get started learning Puppet, we'll need a sandbox environment. We're going to use a virtual machine running in the free application VirtualBox, and managed by another free application called Vagrant. A lot of this course is hands on, so you should try to follow along with me if you can. To do that you'll need to install VirtualBox and Vagrant. I won't go through the details of installing those. They're pretty straightforward. Just go to virtualbox.org and vagrantup.com to get the installer packages. If you run into issues, just search for Vagrant or VirtualBox in the LinkedIn Library. There is a lot of great content that also covers the potential issues you might run into. Once you have those installed and working, unzip the exercise files from this course and navigate to that directory for this lesson. I have that open right here.
