- [Voiceover] Now that you understand…how animation occurs in Principle,…you also need to understand that animation…does not happen at a constant speed.…If you're driving a car, you accelerate,…get up to your cruising speed,…and then when you have to stop, you decelerate,…and it's the same thing when working…with motion in a digital studio.…You need to actually mimic real life,…and that's what we're going to do in this exercise.…We're going to take a look at the aspect of Principle…that allows us to do that, and when it opens…you'll see that we've got a little animation here…for our friend Squiffy Etherington…who's a spitfire pilot, and if you click on this image…here, you'll go to this one, and if you click on it…it rotates back in and just drops into place.…
That's all well and good, but the animation,…if you watch it, if I just click it, you can see…that it's somewhat smooth, I kind of like the way…it's going, but we can try different things with it.…Now, the feature that allows you to do this is called Easing…
