In this video, Nathan Manousos shows how to add realism to a prototype by defining scrolling content areas. These scroll groups are created first by using the Scroll Group toolbar button, and second by setting the scroll properites of an existing group. He explains all of the scrolling options in detail including the paging scroll group features.
- [Voiceover] Scroll groups are a way to quickly add…some realism to the screens of your prototype…by defining scrolling content areas.…In Flinto for Mac, this couldn't be easier.…You can click one button and add so much realism.…Any group can be turned into a scrolling group.…And if you need to add a group around some content…so that it can scroll,…you can click the Scroll Group button in the tool bar.…I'm double clicking to select this text here…in the watermelon recipe screen.…And I'm gonna click that Scroll Group button…to create a scroll group around the text layer.…
Now, I'll open up the preview immediately…and see how the scrolling looks.…You can see that the content scrolls, which looks nice.…But there's a bit of a gap here between…where the content cuts off and where it…probably should cut off.…So back on the canvas, with that scroll group selected,…you can adjust the size,…and it's a bit different than adjusting the size…of other layers because you're actually defining the…area where the scroll group is gonna cut off.…
