From the course: Managing Time-Constrained Projects with Microsoft Project

Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm John Riopel. Welcome to Managing a Time-Constrained Project with Microsoft Project. When time is of the essence, your project schedule is critical to communicating those time constraints. In this course, a small construction company is managing a house remodel project. Their initial schedule of 34 days that a previous project manager developed is currently longer than the customer was looking for. That's no surprise. We'll use Microsoft Project to review the schedule by examining dependencies, lag and lead, validate the information, and work through setting up an accurate schedule. As with any time-constrained project, we'll have some issues to fix, techniques for slack and critical path to work through, and Microsoft Project is here to assist us in getting this information ready for communication to the team. When the schedule looks good, you're ready to start work with Managing a Time-Constrained Project with Microsoft Project.
