Using different resources to shorten duration
- Sometimes, when you're Crashing, you may need to substitute a resource for an existing one that you have in your Project file. Gardener, on our task ID number 16, Close in roof, needs to substitute for Ferrell, so we're going to change this, so we're going to put in our Crash Duration, and Ferrell says they can get it done in 1.5 days, at a cost of $600 so, as you can see, we can save $240, in here, and then they would like us to implement that, so I'm going to select Ferrell instead of Gardener, and I'm going to trim this down, in Duration, to the 1.5 days, as we've previously identified in our Crash Table. I'll press OK, and now I've implemented my Crashing, or substituting that particular resource.
