Using Team Planner to assign resources

The Team Planner view is only available in Project Professional. It's an easy way to work on resource assignments for small teams. It shows a swim lane for each resource assigned to the project and the tasks they are working on appear in a timescale. To see the team planner view, go to the View tab and then click Team Planner. On the left side, you see a list of the resources assigned to the project and then a swim lane like in a swimming pool for each one. Well, I'm going to scroll down a little bit to see the Relocation Project Manager. And one thing you notice is there is an Unscheduled Tasks column. That represents tasks that are assigned to a resource, but don't have any dates. So I manually scheduled tasks. For tasks like this you can just drag them into the Timescale. Grab it, you see the four-headed arrow and then drag it to where you want it; in this case, I'm going to put it on the week of February 23 and it drops into place.
