Update a baseline
- [Narrator] Suppose you need to change baseline values that aren't correct. Or add new scope to an existing baseline. You can re-save parts of a baseline while keeping track of existing variances from the plan. If you haven't added actual values, it's just easier to overwrite the entire baseline. To do that go to the Project tab. In the Schedules section click Set Baseline. And then choose Set Baseline on the drop down menu. In the Set Baseline dialog box you choose the baseline that you want. In this case it's called Baseline. You can keep the option Entire Project selected and click OK. That will show you a warning that says The baseline has already been used. You go ahead and click Yes. If you don't have any actual values there are no variances to save. So this is the easiest way to go. With actual values it's a different story.
