- [Instructor] When you have views in both the primary pane and details pane, you'll switch the active pane frequently. The view name in green letters indicates that that view is active. You can click the details pane to make it active. Click the primary pane to make it active again. To switch panes quickly, press F6 on the keyboard. Project switches from the primary pane to the details pane. If you press F6 again, Project makes the status bar at the bottom of the window active. If you press F6 again, Project displays keyboard shortcut letters on the ribbon. Press F6 one more time to come full-circle to the primary pane being active.
