Set file save options

- [Instructor] Setting a few Project save options can help protect your scheduling work. With a Project file open, click File then Options and then click the save category. Project doesn't have auto recovery like Word or Excel. To save your work from time to time, turn on the AutoSave every check box. And fill in the number of minutes between saves. Choose a number that balances how much work you would lose with how often you're interrupted with saving, like 60. Turn on the prompt before saving check box so you can tell Project not to save if you're in the middle of an experiment. If you work on several projects at a time, select the Save Active Project Only option, so Project saves only the project you're actively working on. Click OK. Now Project will prompt you every so many minutes about saving the file you're working on. Click yes to save it, or no to continue to work without saving.
