Set the default view

- [Instructor] If you have a favorite or custom view, you can tell Project to use that view whenever you create a new project. Out of the box, Project starts with the Gantt with Timeline view. To change the default view, click File, and then choose Options. In the Project Options dialog box, go to the General category. In the Default view drop-down list, choose the view you want and then click OK. To create a new project, click File, then New, and then click Blank Project. Project opens the new file and displays the default view.
